SeaWorld is one of the amazing array of theme parks we have here in Central Florida. Orlando is loaded with parks including all four Disneyworld Parks, both Universal parks, LegoLand, and much more. SeaWorld is an ocean themed park that is built around water activities and of course roller coasters.
SeaWorld has two world class coasters, Kraken and Manta. Kraken is amazing. A longer ride with seats that are a bit more comfortable for children (kids must be at least 54" tall to ride either). Manta is shorter but intense.
A ride that mixes water and coaster is Atlantis. You will get wet (great in the hot Florida summer for sure). It has a story about the lost City of Atlantis...but for the life of me I could not follow it...lol
SeaWorld also offers a host of shows including Shamu and the amazing whales, dolphins, sharks and much more. Two not to be missed shows are the Penguins (the ride is called: Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin) and A'Lure, The Call of the Ocean (this was an indoor show that was amazing).
My suggestion for viewing: Go to Penguins first...then off to Kraken for a great Roller Coaster ride! From that point on as the day gets warmer switch back and forth between outdoor and covered or indoor activities. Once it gets dark re-ride your outdoor favorites. Make sure to do Atlantis in the heat of the day!
